I cannot believe that it's already October! One of the fun things October brings is my blog-birthday, four years in 2008!

To celebrate my 4th blog-birthday I'll be giving away a prize each week for 4 weeks. Prizes are undetermined at this point and may be anything from something I made to a favorite of mine and anything in between. All you have to do is comment. Each time I post and you comment, that puts you into the drawing for the week. If I post once in a week, you have one chance. If I happen to post 24 times in one week you may have up to 24 chances (note : this is highly unlikley). Easy peasy.

Casey Has a Wing Span

Today was spent relaxing and cuddling on the couch while watching a little football and working on some pay it forward gifts. I noticed Casey had a wing span and luckily my camera was nearby. He just crawled back up on my lap so he must like it up here. So. Spoiled.

November Calendars

Chappysmom has asked everyone to show off their November calendar pages so here I go.

This one is in our kitchen and it is the William Wegman Puppies calendar, it's the one we get every year. It's very hard to resist those little Weimaraner puppies.

This one hangs in my craft room and I made it using photos I took throughout the year 2006. I plan to make one again for 2008 since it's been nice to be reminded what was happening each month the previous year. This is the photo I posted last Thanksgiving, it's a turkey made of pipes outside of a local business.

The Quilt is Finished!

Last week I finished the wedding quilt with plenty of time to spare! The bride & groom loved it and I was happy to give it...even though I thought of stashing some money into a card several times so I could keep the quilt!

Dish Rag Queen?

This post is for Emily of Yarn Miracle, the creator of Dish Rag Tag. This stack of dish cloths are all in use in my house, there are 15 in the stack although some may have hit the trash bucket soon after this photo was taken. The stack doesn't include the wet one in use at the sink or the few in the laundry. I'm looking forward to starting dish rag tag in August! (sorry, sign ups are closed)
