Last night I bathed my Clapotis in Eucalan and blocked it. This morning I took the pins out and it didn't budge, no lovely curling and twirling (or is it twizzling?) like it did before blocking. Ahoy, Blingo please tell me about blocking Clapotis. Half way down the page is a link to Kate's blog (the designer) and it says specifically in order to keep the curls, don't bother blocking! So back to the bath it went and now I'm in the process of unblocking my Clapotis. No photos today, sorry! Will a little merino wool tide you over??
So good to know about the not blocking Clapotis. I was already thinking about a space long enough for her and now I don't have to! I also LOVE those wooly colors.
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!

I love the idea of *unblocking* - never heard of that one before!
