Mitten Poll

I need advice for my 2nd mitten. You can scroll down to check the 1st if you're not familiar. I am about to begin the 2nd mitten and I wondered what everyone else does with self-striping yarn (mittens or socks), do you start the 2nd where you ended up at the end of the 1st OR do you get to the point in the skein where you began the 1st so they match?
