I cruised on the mitten today while listening to a seminar on Oral Pathology given by the UofM Dental School pathology professors. Sort of interesting although I sure am glad I had a project to work on! My friend Becca worked on her first project, a dishcloth and there was another woman close by us who was knitting a scarf. After knitting for 8 hours straight, hopefully I'll still feel inspired enough to start the second one when I finish this one. It's knit with Plassard Pichenette kid mohair blend and Lang Jawool wool blend. I'm very close to closing up the mitten, I found a pattern that has left & right handed mitten directions so I'm looking forward to finishing it in a nice way. Look at what I carried it in!
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!
