I finished the Harry Potter Bookscarf last night! I didn't have a crochet hook quite small enough so I used a needle to thread the fringes through, I think my eyes are still buggy from that. I enjoyed knitting this little project even on the size 0 DPN's! Pattern: Harry Potter Bookscarf Yarn: DMC Pearl Cotton size 5 MC#815 (2 skeins) CC#976 (1 skein) Needles: Size 0 Pony Pearl DPN Started: September 18 Finished: October 1 I like this photo...
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!

Very nice! I just love these little bookscarves. They're so fun.
That second shot IS a lot of fun. Every one of these bookscarves I see just makes me more determined to knit one (or two) for stocking stuffers.
