Tie a Yellow Ribbon

The yellow ribbon & lights I put around my oak tree today which will remain lit until my brother returns from deployment. Please keep him and all the US soldiers in your thoughts this holiday season.

Tis the Season for Stripes

I finished up the stripey scarf and even wore it to the Holidazzle Parade on Saturday night. It kept me nice and warm as we waited an hour in the cold for the parade to start. The nice thing about the scarf is it matches nearly every outfit I have.

We're in the midst of the 1st snowstorm of the year! Yipee! I'll try to post some snow photos later this week for those of you in warm climates.

1 Year

It was one year ago that I returned home from a quick trip to Tucson to find a Boxer in our house as a temporary place before she found a permanent home. She began as a quiet, starving for love, timid dog and has since turned into a loving, full of personality, playful companion. We love you Flea Bee Girl.

Casey is really taking a liking to her recently too :)
