Lilacs from the front yard, I cut a bunch today and they're smelling up the house!! Mmmm.I love how each tiny blossom has a hint of blue on the petals. The lilacs were originally from my (~70 yr old) neighbors parents farm. I think that's neat.
I planted these tulips last Fall, I love the inside of the blooms. I got lucky with the variety of colors. Hopefully the moles will keep their moley mouths off my bulbs this year!
Carrie, those are such beautiful photos! Our flowers are all bloomed out. Sigh. I guess that's why they're so special--if they lasted all year round, they would be commonplace. Well, at least I can still look forward to the gardenias and daylilies!
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!

Jane's tulips are SO amazing--I'm ttoally jealous of them. But lilacs will always be my favorite spring flower!
Pretty pictures! I LOVE this time of the year because of the lilacs and lily of the valley.
Beautiful flower photos today! It's especially nice to see since it's been raining here ALL week!
The pictures are great. Really help on a grey Minnesota morning!
Love tulips. So pretty!
