Last Friday, May 27th, my friend Kim celebrated her 29th birthday. I worked until noon and then we met for lunch at our favorite place, Pink Flower. This restaurant serves THE best Vietnamese food, everything is always fresh and crisp with just the right flavor...egg rolls with fish sauce is our favorite. I knit her a reverse bloom flower washcloth and she loved it. Also in her birthday package was a duct tape coin purse and when she opened it she exclaimed "Oh! I was hoping I'd get one of these!". I'm glad I could deliver. Here she is holding the washcloth just outside the restaurant since I couldn't get a photo ahead of time. It was still a little damp at the time...finishing just under the wire, again.
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!
