Today is the official start of summer. The season of ice cream, lemonade, mosquito bites, sandals, sunburn, warm nights, motorcycles, bon fires, Chicago dogs and fireworks. What does summer mean to you?
Summer brings heat and humidity! I have experienced that in MN as well. Also, corn, tomatoes, and pesto from my basil in the garden. Enjoy your summer. Secret Pal
Summer is the time for lazy family bonding, rollerblading (miss the lakes in Mpls/St.Paul!), birthdays, eating ice cream while watching the stars and talking boys with my nieces, trying to keep up my sons, and beautiful flowers everywhere. Summer is fun. ;-)
Ah, what a nice reminder. Summer to me is baseball games, farmers markets, the smell of sunscreen (so I don't get sunburned!!), enjoying the sun for a few hours after the work day has ended, open windows at home and in the car, lazy weekends spent walking and relaxing in Central Park. :D
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!
