I drive past this house everyday and finally had an photo op. I think this is crazy ridiculous...there's not even a theme (besides lightbulbs) it's just TOO much. And what do you think the electric bill is like? It reminds me of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Oy.
Oh, I gotta dig that movie out again! I would hate to live next to that house, although a need for a nightlite would disapear for the month. My kids would love that house though. They think they are so deprived since all we put out on our house are big bows..hehe.
Their is a couple of houses like that in our area. I think the two compete every year on who's house can look more like a Christmas yard sale. Although your picture does look like an electric gingerbread house. If it had Hanzel and Gretal on the front lawn in neon lights it would win an award! :)
Man. I love looking at houses like that, but can't imagine doing it myself. For one thing, I don't have the energy ... how long do you think it took the homeowner to install that?!?
I am a 30-something dental hygienist living in MN with my Weimaraner Casey, and missing my Boxer Flea. My husband Kyle is my best friend. I drive a 10 year old truck and a 9 year old motorcycle. My brother is currently serving in the US Air Force stationed in New Mexico. I love Rice Krispie bars, all things Tangerine/Mandarin Orange and Pistachio, Peanut M&M's, caramel, Jelly Bellys, comfortable shoes, cowboy/rodeo fabric, warm blankets, handmade quilts, soft pillows, really good chocolate and lazy days. I dislike litterbugs, dry hands, burned popcorn, slow drivers, below zero days and poor service & dirty silverware at restaurants. I'm currently enjoying my new Android phone, working on my UFO's and reading Recalculating on my nook.
I'm looking forward to Christmas!

Ha - I kinda love houses like that.
Mind you, I would never do that to my own residence!
