Back on July 10th late in the night Casey gave us a scare that landed him in the ER for 24 hours. His stomach twisted, a common medical condition among Weimaraners. Since I knew it was something that could happen at any time I was aware of the signs and we got him to the doctor as soon as we could. A very scary night but he's been recovering nicely, pretty much back to himself except he weighs a few pounds less.
This photo was taken the day after he retured from the pet hospital. Even though it's been 2 months, we can still see where he's been shaved. Apparently his hair is very slow growing.

Was he a food gobbler? We worry about our younger, leggier hound.
Aw, poor puppy! Glad he is feeling better now. What are the signs of a twisted stomach?
How scary! Glad he's doing better now, poor guy!
