My 1st Poppy

I planted a poppy plant last Fall although when it showed up this Spring, I had forgotten what it was that I had planted. That is until it bloomed a few days ago. Oh! Now I remember what it is, a poppy!! Since I took this photo on Wednesday, all the petals have fallen off. They are so fragile.

    They don't last look but they sure are beautiful. It will come back next year and hopefully will multiply, too.
